In some of the cases, carbon dioxide which is gaseous in nature and solid material is used to taste the situation of the pipe. As, it is not as cool as the liquid Nitrogen freezing the pipe takes more time. But the thing that is beneficial is that it does not expose the material of the pipe to low temperature.
